REVIEW: Lanolips Antibacterial Hand Cream

Lanolips Antibacterial Hand Cream-£8.99
I’ve mentioned the Lanolips lip balms on this blog more times than I can count because they are truly phenomenal products. Lip balm that smells like lemonade!? I’m so on board with that. I recently got a chance to try out a new product Lanolips are launching in May which is an antibacterial hand cream. I wouldn’t consider myself a hand sanitizer addict-not because I welcome germs, but because they make my hands so dry! When I first heard of this antibacterial hand cream it was a “WHY-DIDN’T-I-THINK-OF-THAT” moment….what a genius idea! That being said I was a bit nervous to try this product because the last thing I want to do when my hands are feeling gross is slap on a thick hand cream.

The first time I used this product I approached with caution and almost winced as I rubbed it in, but then I was pleasantly surprised. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful scent of this product which is fresh and light. The texture is a silky, airy *almost* mousse texture. It absorbs into the hands quickly and does what it says on the tin-moisturises and disinfects. This product contains no alcohol or Triclosan, which are typically the antibacterial agents in hand sanitizers and instead it uses something called Benzalkonium Chloride (yeah I had to Google that one) which is a more gentle antiseptic found in things like face wipes etc.

Overall, I think this product is going to be in my handbag from this point on. It cuts out the need to carry both a hand sanitizer AND a hand cream. I love a good 2-in-1 product don’t you?

Will you be picking this up next month?
